Dr. Heather Molander, our Medical Director at Strickland Veterinary Clinic, is a Washington State University graduate with nearly three decades of experience in veterinary medicine. She specializes in preventative care, geriatric care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery and is certified in veterinary acupuncture, offering both traditional and innovative treatments. Dr. Molander also excels in performing advanced surgeries and managing urgent care cases, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
Her approach combines thorough medical expertise with a deep commitment to communication, building enduring relationships with pet owners. When not in the clinic, Dr. Molander enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and volunteering with her family and pets. Her dedication and expertise inspire confidence and trust in the families we serve.

Dr. Courtney Cherry
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Cherry is a dedicated veterinarian passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their families. A graduate of Purdue University, she has over 13 years of experience in veterinary medicine with a special interest in internal medicine, behavior, and nutrition.
Dr. Cherry is committed to fear-free and cat-friendly practices, client education, and advanced medical treatments. She takes pride in building strong relationships with pet owners and ensuring that every pet receives the highest quality care tailored to their specific needs.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Cherry enjoys crafting, playing video games, and reading. She shares her home with her husband, four cats, two chinchillas, and a tortoise. She is excited to continue making a difference in the lives of pets and their families while being part of an amazing and compassionate veterinary team at Chandler Small Animal Clinic.

Caitlyn Delgado
Practice Manager
Caitlyn Delgado serves as the Practice Manager at Strickland Veterinary Clinic, bringing years of diverse veterinary experience since starting her career in 2012. Her background spans emergency and general practice, and she has extensive experience with exotic, avian, and wildlife species. Caitlyn is certified in Veterinary CPR and has been instrumental in managing our practice since 2018, creating a supportive and efficient environment for both staff and clients.
In 2023, Caitlyn returned to Arizona, recommitting to our community’s well-being. She is passionate about ensuring that every visit is a positive experience for our pet families. When not at the clinic, Caitlyn enjoys making memories with her son Braxton and caring for their pets: a large dog, Astro, and three cats, Uno, Salem, and Humphrey. Her passion for animal care extends beyond her professional role, deeply influencing her dedication to our clinic and community.
